Lizzy Renihan

Choir leader for: Walthamstow, New Barnet and South Woodford

Lizzy comes from a big Irish family with three older singing sisters. Their father, an Irish tenor, was a huge musical influence and taught them all to sing from a very young age. At 16 Lizzy joined the cast of ‘Starlight Express’ and has since appeared in numerous West End and theatre hits, toured Europe with the BBC and RTE Concert Orchestras, and has performed on ‘Friday Night Is Music Night’ and ‘Woman’s Hour’. Lizzy continues to write and perform her own material. She lives in London with her partner Luke, two children and cat Floss.

Choir leader for: Ashtead and Woking (Surrey)

Surrey’s choir leader is local mum Rachel Spry, a West End musical theatre actress who has been performing for over 20 years, including panto with Craig Revel-Horwood in 2015. Trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Rachel has appeared in numerous West End hits including Les Miserables, My Fair Lady and most recently Mamma Mia, understudying and playing the three dynamos on different nights in the same week on one occasion!
