Choirs: Walthamstow Women and Mixed Choirs, Woodford Women and Leyton Mixed… and the one who thunk Natural Voices all up.

Why choirs Lizzy? I come from a big Irish family with three older singing sisters. Our dad, an Irish tenor, was a huge musical influence and taught us all to sing from a very young age and we were a family choir from as long as I can remember.

At 16 I joined the cast of ‘Starlight Express’ and have since appeared in ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Cats’, ‘Children Of Eden’ and ‘Joseph’ in the West End. I have played leading roles for the RSC and Royal National Theatre.  I’ve toured Europe with the BBC and RTE Concert Orchestras, and have performed on ‘Friday Night Is Music Night’ and ‘Woman’s Hour’. I played the leading role of Anna in the UK tour of The King and I.  I continue to write and perform my own material.  I live in Waltham Forest with my partner Luke, two children and 2 cats!

At this point in my life, I wanted to stay still long enough to get to know my community and what a community they are!

Choirs: Walthamstow Youth Choirs

I’m Meg and I’m delighted to be running the Natural Voices Youth Choir!

I trained as an actor-musician at East 15 Acting School and since have worked in theatre across the country, including ‘Sunshine on Leith’, ‘Little Women’ and ‘Noises Off‘. When I’m not treading the boards, I work as a music teacher, teaching Early Years as well as various instruments  – I play 7 in total! During the pandemic I set up the YouYube channel ‘Music With Meg’, bringing free and fun music education to all.

I’m passionate about nurturing a love of music through singing, and creating a fun and inclusive environment at Youth Choir!
